Car Hits Child Crossing with Family on Palmdale Road in Victorville

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (February 29, 2024) – A 7-year-old girl was hit by a vehicle on Palmdale Road in Victorville Tuesday night on February 27.
 
The crash happened around 6:18 p.m. just east of El Evado Road. According to the Victorville Police Department, a family was crossing the street when a blue 2012 Mini Countryman hit the child.
 
The child was then airlifted to a trauma center in an unknown condition.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement.
 
The circumstances of the crash are still under investigation.
