66-year-old Majid Lashkari Hurt, Oscar Ramirez Detained in DUI 2-Car Crash on Highway 101 near Johnson Drive

 
VENTURA, CA (June 7, 2023) — Majid Lashkari suffered injuries in Monday’s DUI two-car accident on Highway 101 near Johnson Drive.
 
At approximately 5:49 p.m., California Highway Patrol authorities reached the scene of a two-vehicle crash on Highway 101 North. Just south of Johnson Drive, they found a Dodge Charger and an Acura SUV involved in a collision.
 
According to investigations, 21-year-old Oscar Ramirez allowed his Dodge Charger to hit the Acura SUV, driven by 66-year-old Majid Lashkari, of Ventura. As a result, the Acura spun out of control and veered down an embankment before it struck a light pole and concrete wall.
 
Several witnesses rushed to help Lashkari from the vehicle before paramedics took over and transported him to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
 
Following the accident, police arrested Ramirez, of Camarillo, for DUI violations and booked him into the Ventura County Main Jail.
