4 People Dead in Apple Valley Head-On Crash on Highway 18

 
APPLE VALLEY, CA (May 10, 2021) — Four people died in a head-on accident on Highway 18 near Sierra Pelona Drive Saturday night.
 
According to officials, the Apple Valley Fire Department responded to the scene around 8:32 p.m. There, firefighters found a white 1994 Chevy Suburban and a 2021 Toyota Tundra, both with major damage.
 
For unknown reasons, the cars collided in a head-on fashion. Shortly after, a California Highway Patrol helicopter landed and airlifted one person to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
 
Unfortunately, officials found three people inside the Chevy Suburban dead and another one deceased in a Toyota Tundra. At this time, their identities and the ultimate cause of the crash require further investigation. However, if anyone has more information on this accident, please contact local authorities.
