4 Wounded in Cajon Pass Crash with Semi-Truck on 15 Freeway

 
CAJON PASS, CA (January 13, 2022) — Four people were injured in a fiery accident with a semi-truck on the 15 Freeway near Kenwood Boulevard.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle accident occurred around 12:15 p.m. on the northbound freeway. Under unclear circumstances, a Subaru SUV traveling at 85 miles per hour collided with the rear of a semi-truck. Due to the nature of the crash, a fire erupted.
 
Shortly after, firefighter-paramedics arrived at the scene to distinguish the flames and tend to the patients.
 
While they rushed one person to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center with critical injuries, they brought two others to a hospital by ground and the fourth person declined medical care.
 
As for the semi-truck driver, he or she escaped harm.
