3 Deputies Hurt in Beverly Boulevard Car Crash While Responding to Call in Los Angeles

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (March 20, 2024) — Three deputies were injured in a car accident at Beverly Boulevard and Hillview Avenue while responding to a shooting.
 
According to the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department, the incident happened around 12:40 a.m. Monday. Upon receiving a report about a shooting at Los Arcos Restaurant in the 5700 block of Whittier Boulevard, three deputies in two different cars responded. Subsequently, the two deputy patrol cars crashed into each other a mile away from the shootout. Upon impact, one police car plowed into a building, and another took down a traffic light.
 
Soon after, Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics arrived and brought the deputies to a nearby hospital for treatment. As for the shooting victims, two of them sought hospital care, but reports did not say what led to the incident.
 
There was no other information surrounding this crash.
