2 Pedestrians Hit, Injured by Car on Knoxville Street in San Diego

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (October 9, 2023) — Two women suffered injuries in a pedestrian accident on Knoxville Street near Littlefield Street.
 
According to San Diego Police, the pedestrian accident happened around 6:55 p.m. Saturday. For an unknown reason, a 79-year-old woman driving a southbound 2013 Toyota Venza struck two female pedestrians.
 
As a result of the crash, the 64-year-old woman and the 67-year-old woman either complained of pain or suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Soon after, paramedics arrived and took one of them to a hospital for treatment.
 
At this time, authorities do not know what drove the accident. However, they have ruled out DUI as a possible explanation.
