Two Cars Collide, One Car Hits House on Highway 1 in El Granada

 
EL GRANADA, CA (June 3, 2023) – Two people were injured in a two-car accident on Highway 1 in El Granada Saturday morning on June 3.
 
The accident happened around 9:02 a.m. at Medio Avenue. According to Cal Fire, two cars collided at the intersection for unknown reasons. The impact caused one of the cars to crash through a fence and yard, and hit a house at Third and Medio avenues.
 
The car did not penetrate the house. However, two occupants in that car were injured.
 
Paramedics transported the two patients to a hospital, one with major injuries and the other with moderate injuries.
 
At this time, CHP officials are still investigating the cause of the crash and factors involved.
