Driver and Passenger Suffer Major Injuries after Car Crashes into Ditch on Academy Avenue in Fresno County

 
FRESNO COUNTY, CA (June 5, 2023) – Two people were seriously injured in a car accident at Academy Avenue and South Avenue in Fresno County on Saturday morning.
 
The accident happened just before 6:00 a.m. on June 3. According to the California Highway Patrol, an unknown vehicle was traveling in the area when it drifted to the right on Academy Avenue. It then crashed into a ditch, causing the driver to swerve and turn.
 
Paramedics responded and found both the driver and passenger suffering from major injuries. They transported the two to a hospital in an unknown condition.
 
CHP officials are still investigating the cause of the crash and factors involved.
