Injuries Reported after Carmichael Car Accident on San Juan Avenue near Winding Way

 
CARMICHAEL, CA (January 2, 2023) – Two people sustained injuries after a car crashed into a house along San Juan Avenue, Saturday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on New Year’s Eve. For reasons still under investigation, a southbound Dodge sedan was traveling at a high rate of speed.
 
Then, the vehicle left the roadway, hit a fire hydrant, slammed through a fence, and crashed into a home near Winding Way.
 
As per reports, two people inside the vehicle sustained injuries. Emergency crews transported the victims to a hospital for treatment.
 
No one inside the house suffered injuries.
 
The sedan reportedly left a hole in the house’s wall.
 
CHP continues to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
