2 Hurt, Big Rig Collides With Fire Engine on 10 Freeway in Fontana

 
FONTANA, CA (June 6, 2022) — Two people were injured after a big rig crashed into a fire truck on the 10 Freeway near Sierra Avenue.
 
According to reports, the two-vehicle accident happened on Friday. When San Bernardino County fire medic engine 76 responded to the scene of an earlier crash that morning, a second collision unfolded not long after.
 
For unknown reasons, a driver of a big rig struck the apparatus from behind. Fortunately, all San Bernardino County Fire medics were outside of the engine when the accident occurred. However, two people in one of the vehicles required immediate care for their minor injuries.
