Two Men Arrested after DUI Accident at Telegraph Canyon Road and Paseo Ladera

 
CHULA VISTA, CA (November 29, 2021) – Four people sustained injuries following a DUI accident on Telegraph Canyon Road, late Saturday evening.
 
According to the Chula Vista Police Department, the incident happened on November 27 at about 11:50 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, a Honda Civic and Volkswagen Passat collided in the intersection of Telegraph Canyon Road and Paseo Ladera.
 
The impact of the collision trapped one of the passengers. Emergency responders had to cut open one of the cars to extricate the victim.
 
As per reports, both drivers and their passengers sustained non-life-threatening injuries and needed hospitalization.
 
Officers later arrested both drivers on suspicion of driving under the influence. Authorities did not release the names of the people involved.
 
Chula Vista police continue to investigate the cause of the accident.
