Sidney Carpenter Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Crash on Bullard Avenue and Temperance Avenue

 
CLOVIS, CA (November 29, 2021) — A man identified as 57-year-old Sidney Carpenter died in a pedestrian crash on Saturday, November 27.
 
According to the police, the crash occurred at around 7:00 p.m. on Bullard Avenue and Temperance Avenue.
 
Reports said a vehicle struck Carpenter, and he died of sustained injuries at the scene of the incident.
 
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the police. Drugs or alcohol do not seem to have contributed in the collision.
 
Officers said that Carpenter did not cross the street at a marked crosswalk.
 
Authorities closed Bullard for hours in both directions as they conducted their investigation.
