Roadway Closed after DUI Accident at Bond Road and Waterman Road in Elk Grove

ELK GROVE, CA (August 3, 2021) – Two people needed hospitalization following a DUI accident on Bond Road, Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Elk Grove Police Department, the incident happened on July 28. Due to unknown circumstances, two vehicles collided in the area of Bond Road and Waterman Road.

Emergency crews transported two victims to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. Authorities did not release the identities of the victims.

Meanwhile, officers arrested one of the drivers for impaired driving.

Responders temporarily closed the area of Bond Road and Waterman Road to make way for clearing operations and an investigation.

Elk Grove police continue to investigate the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
