2 Airlifted in Rollover Accident on 15 Freeway near Wild Wash Road [Apple Valley, CA]

Minivan Overturns on 15 Freeway in Apple Valley Seriously Injuring Two People

 
APPLE VALLEY, CA (July 14, 2023) – Two people were airlifted in a rollover accident on 15 Freeway in Apple Valley Tuesday afternoon on July 11.
 
The accident happened around 3:38 p.m. between Wild Wash Road and Dale Evans Parkway. According to the Victorville Fire Department, a white 1999 Toyota Sienna was traveling southbound on the freeway when it overturned.
 
Arriving emergency personnel located the minivan on its side in the field just west of the freeway.
 
One of the occupants sustained major facial injuries, and a second occupant suffered critical injuries.
 
Two helicopters responded and took the patients to a hospital.
 
The California Highway Patrol is still investigating the cause of the crash.
