1 Person Dead, Car Crashes Into Fire Truck near Highway 60 in Jurupa Valley

 
JURUPA VALLEY, CA (December 12, 2022) — One person died after a car crashed into a fire truck near Highway 60 and Valley Way.
 
According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the fatal two-vehicle crash happened around 12:25 p.m. Sunday. For unknown reasons, a BMW driver crashed into a Cal Fire engine, parked near the intersection from an earlier crash.
 
Tragically, the driver died at the scene of the accident. Per the fire department, no firefighters reported any injuries.
 
Authorities did not indicate the leading cause of the crash or the factors involved. Although, the California Highway Patrol will investigate this case from all angles to determine the liability. If anyone has seen this accident, please call the CHP.
