Man Killed in Downtown Los Angeles Pedestrian Accident on 110 Freeway

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (December 12, 2022) — A man died in a pedestrian crash on the 110 Freeway near 3rd Street.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal pedestrian accident happened around 12:51 a.m. Friday. On the northbound 110 Freeway, a driver struck a man who had just gotten off his bike on the 3rd Street off-ramp.
 
Immediately after, the driver stopped and called 911. However, upon responding, the Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
 
Authorities issued a Sig Alert soon after on the off-ramp while CHP conducted an investigation of the crash.
 
At this time, police did not indicate the leading cause of the accident or the factors that caused it. Although, an investigation into the details should confirm the liabilities.
