GRANADA HILLS, CA (March 2, 2022) — One person died in a rollover accident on Highway 118 near the 405 Freeway on Tuesday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal rollover accident happened around 11:45 a.m. on the eastbound side of the highway. For unknown reasons, a driver of an SUV lost control and flipped several times before landing on the westbound side.
 
As a result of the impact, one person suffered fatal wounds.
 
Responding paramedics and officers found the SUV with major damage and another car with front-end damage.
