INGLEWOOD, CA (February 9, 2021) — A fatal pedestrian crash on 405 Freeway at Century Boulevard occurred Monday January 25 in Inglewood.
 
The California Highway Patrol reported that they received reports about the incident at about 5:02 a.m. Officers and medical personnel immediately responded to the scene.
 
Information about the crash is limited as of this time. However, based on initial reports, a vehicle struck a pedestrian on the collector road for the northbound 405 Freeway at Century Boulevard.
 
The names of those involved in the crash were not immediately available. It was also not immediately clear whether the vehicle that struck the pedestrian remained at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, CHP issued a SigAlert at 5:32 a.m. that closed down the collector road. The area reopened following the cleanup and emergency response at the scene.
