1 Injured in 2-Vehicle Crash at Gosford Road in Bakersfield

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (April 16, 2024) — One person suffered severe injuries in a 2-car accident at Gosford Road and Laurelglen Boulevard.
 
According to Bakersfield Police, the two-vehicle crash happened around 10:20 p.m. on Saturday. Under unclear circumstances, a driver of a Honda Civic turning west on South Laurelglen Boulevard from northbound Gosford Road collided with a southbound BMW. Subsequently, Bakersfield Police and paramedics responded and found two damaged vehicles and one person in critical condition.
 
While paramedics brought the patient to a hospital, officers investigated the scene, determining that neither impairment nor speed factored into the crash.
