1 Driver Hospitalized in 2-Car Crash at Shasta Street in Redding

 
REDDING, CA (July 11, 2023) — A driver was injured Wednesday in a 2-car accident at Shasta Street and East Street.
 
According to Redding police, the two-vehicle crash happened around 9:00 a.m. Under unclear circumstances, a Ford Bronco and an Audi crashed at the intersection, sending one car on its side, blocking traffic.
 
Soon after, emergency responders arrived at the scene and found no one with major injuries, fortunately. However, one driver reported pain and was taken to a hospital for further evaluation.
 
Traffic investigators did not report on the cause of the accident or the possible factors that played a part. However, we will update this report once we receive additional information.
