LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CA (April 11, 2023) — One person died and five people suffered injuries in an overturned semi-truck accident on Highway 138 near 110th Street.
 
According to reports, the deadly truck accident happened around 5:44 p.m. Monday. Under unclear circumstances, a passenger vehicle and a semi-truck carrying loads of items crashed in an unknown fashion.
 
The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded and found the overturned big rig with debris spilling out of the top of one of its trailers. In addition, they found the dark-colored vehicle with significant damage.
 
One person passed away at the scene, and five others required hospital care, including four people with critical injuries.
 
Traffic investigators did not specify what led to the crash or which vehicle the deceased victim occupied, but an ongoing investigation should confirm the details.
