Stacey Teixeira Detained in Deadly DUI Motorcycle Crash on Road 603 near Run Way

 
MADERA COUNTY, CA (September 13, 2022) — Stacey Teixeira faces DUI charges in Wednesday’s fatal motorcycle accident on Road 603 near Run Way.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly DUI motorcycle crash happened around 10:30 p.m. For possible DUI-related reasons, 50-year-old Teixeira attempted a three-point turn from the eastbound to the westbound lane.
 
However, a 58-year-old man riding eastbound in a Harley-Davidson motorcycle was behind her. The unidentified man was unable to stop his motorcycle in time and smashed into the rear end of her Lexus as it attempted its turn.
 
Soon after, paramedics reached the scene and found the victim with fatal injuries.
 
Meanwhile, officers arrested Teixeira on suspicion of DUI, later booking her into Madera County Jail.
 
As of now, she remains incarcerated, and the victim’s name is unavailable. However, we will update this report once we receive more information.
