Driver Dies in Multi-Car Accident on 15 Freeway in Mountain Pass

 
MOUNTAIN PASS, CA (July 5, 2022) — A driver died in a multi-car crash on the 15 Freeway near Bailey Avenue.
 
According to a coroner’s press release, the fatal multi-vehicle crash happened around 10:34 a.m. on Thursday. For unknown reasons, several cars crashed, including an SUV, and a fire ruptured due to the impact.
 
Shortly after, paramedics and authorities responded to the scene and pronounced one person – the SUV driver – dead at 10:47 a.m. Authorities have yet to release the victim’s name.
 
At this time, officials have not confirmed the leading cause of the accident. However, if anyone has more information on this crash, please call the California Highway Patrol.
