1 Killed, Car Hits Farm Equipment at Alisal Road in Salinas

 
SALINAS, CA (July 5, 2022) — One person died after a car hit farm equipment at Alisal Road and Hartnell Road on Friday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal accident happened around 5:20 a.m. For unknown reasons, a driver speeding near the intersection struck a piece of farm equipment.
 
Shortly after, police responded and found the car with significant damage.
 
Due to the crash, one person suffered fatal injuries and authorities had to close down the area for an hour due to the investigation.
