Motorcyclist Dies after Crash with DUI Driver on Beach Boulevard in Stanton

 
STANTON, CA (June 24, 2022) – A motorcyclist was killed in a DUI accident on Beach Boulevard in Stanton on Tuesday, June 21.
 
The accident happened just after 9:30 p.m. at Starr Street. According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, the woman was riding her motorcycle northbound on Beach Boulevard. However, a man driving a pickup truck made a U-turn along southbound Beach Boulevard at Starr Street.
 
As a result, the motorcycle and truck collided.
 
The motorcyclist suffered significant injuries. Paramedics rushed her to a hospital, where she later died. Her identity was withheld pending family notification.
 
Meanwhile, sheriff’s officials arrested the driver of the pickup truck on suspicion of DUI causing bodily injury.
 
Further investigation is underway.
