Fabian Torres Involved in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on G Street in Merced

 
MERCED, CA (November 30, 2021) – Police arrested Fabian Torres following a hit-and-run accident in the 3400 block of G Street on November 18.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 2:25 AM.
 
Based on a report, Fabian Torres, 20, turned himself over to officers in relation to the accident. Prior to that, a pedestrian was crossing the road outside of a crosswalk. Then, Torres’ black Infiniti sedan struck the victim.
 
As a result, the 26-year-old male victim sustained major injuries to his legs. Paramedics transported him to a Modesto area hospital for treatment.
 
The Merced Police Department Traffic Unit was investigating the collision when they received cooperation from the suspect’s attorney. At this point, no other details are available.
