Woman Suffers Serious Injuries in Pedestrian Accident near Kings Canyon Road

 
FRESNO, CA (November 23, 2021) – A woman suffered serious injuries in a pedestrian accident near Kings Canyon Road in southeast Fresno Friday evening.
 
The accident happened around 7:00 p.m. on November 19 at Willow Avenue. According to the Fresno Police Department, the female pedestrian was crossing the street outside of a crosswalk when a vehicle hit her.
 
The impact caused the woman serious injuries. Paramedics transported her to a hospital in an unknown condition.
 
Meanwhile, the involved driver stopped and cooperated with police. They were not speeding and police said drugs or alcohol did not play a role in the crash.
 
An investigation into this accident is ongoing.
