Carlos Munoz Killed in Motorcycle Accident on Soboba Road [San Jacinto, CA]

15-Year-Old Boy Dies after His Motorcycle Crashes into Sedan on San Jacinto Street

 
SAN JACINTO, CA (November 23, 2021) – Carlo Munoz died in a motorcycle accident in San Jacinto, Friday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 12:10 p.m. on November 19, on Soboba Road south of Lake Park Drive. According to the California Highway Patrol, Munoz was riding his off-road motorcycle northbound on Soboba Road at approximately 50 mph when he crashed into the back of a northbound 2018 Honda Accord, driven by a 72-year-old woman.
 
The impact caused the woman to crash into a southbound 2020 Jeep Rubicon, driven by a 74-year-old man.
 
Munoz and his motocross motorcycle landed in southbound lanes. He suffered major blunt force trauma. Arriving paramedics rushed him to the Riverside University Health System Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries at 1:02 p.m.
 
Munoz was a 15-year-old San Jacinto resident, according to the Riverside County Coroner’s Office.
 
Meanwhile, the woman sustained minor injuries. Paramedics took him to Hemet Valley Hospital as a precaution.
 
At this time, it is unknown if drugs or alcohol was a factor in the crash.
