BAKERSFIELD, CA (July 9, 2021) — A crash near Palm Avenue and Old Farm Road led to a vehicle fire July 5 in Northwest Bakersfield.
 
According to the authorities, reports about the incident came in at about 7:00 a.m. on Monday. Per the callers, a car crashed into a parked semi-truck.
 
When first responders arrived at the scene, they found a Kia smashed into the big rig. Reports indicated that the vehicle burst into flames after the collision, while the driver was still in the car.
