Alfonso Madera-Gomez, Kristopher Wilson Dead in Two-Car Crash on Highway 70 near West Branch Bridge
OROVILLE, CA (July 8, 2021) — Alfonso Madera-Gomez and Kristopher Wilson died in a two-car accident on Highway 70 near West Branch Bridge Monday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-car accident happened around 3:00 a.m. For unknown reasons, the two cars collided and subsequently blocked the highway lanes. Shortly after, police responded and found 27-year-old Wilson and 21-year-old Madera-Gomez at the scene with major injuries.
Paramedics arrived and transported Madera-Gomez to Enloe Medical Center where he died from his injuries. Unfortunately, Wilson succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
