Two-Vehicle Accident on South Central Avenue in South LA Kills 1 and Critically Injures Another

 
SOUTH LOS ANGELES, CA (April 18, 2021) – One person was killed in a two-vehicle accident in the 8800 block of South Central Avenue in South Los Angeles Sunday morning, April 18.
 
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the accident happened around 9:01 a.m. Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched to the crash scene and found one fatality as a result of the accident.
 
Another person, a 60-year-old man, suffered critical injuries. A third patient, a woman approximately 30 years old, sustained minor injuries.
 
Authorities did not release the identity of the deceased victim pending next of kin notification.
 
The ultimate cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
