FRESNO, CA (February 10, 2021) – Police confirmed that a man died in a bicycle accident on Cedar Avenue on February 9.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Kenmore Drive shortly before 2:30 PM.
 
Based on a report, the bicyclist exited an alley directly into the path of an unidentified vehicle. Subsequently, the two vehicles collided in the lanes. The bicyclist, who was not wearing a helmet, was thrown onto the car.
 
As a result, the cyclist suffered severe head injuries. He died in the incident. Officials did not yet release his name pending kin notification.
 
The driver of the car stayed at the scene and cooperated with the officers.
