Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Two Cars in Hit-and-Run Accident on Euclid Avenue and El Monte Way

 
DINUBA, CA (February 11, 2021) — A pedestrian died following a hit-and-run accident on Euclid Avenue and El Monte Way on Tuesday, February 9.
 
According to Dinuba police, the accident occurred just after 10:30 p.m. when a gray Ford F-150 truck hit a pedestrian.
 
Investigators said that the driver tried to help move the injured pedestrian out of the road. Then the driver fled the crash site.
 
Bystanders tried to help the pedestrian. While a witness tried to slow traffic, a second driver hit the pedestrian for a second time.
 
The second driver also left the scene but later turned himself to Dinuba police. Authorities identified him as 25-year-old Isaac Hernandez.
 
Officials pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene. His name is not yet available pending notification of his loved ones.
 
Investigators continue to search for the first driver in the gray Ford pick-up. However, there is no other information available about the incident.
