62-Year-Old Woman Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver in Rialto

 
RIALTO, CA (January 30, 2023) – Yolanda Vargas died in a hit-and-run crash in Rialto Thursday evening on January 26.
 
The fatal crash happened around 9:00 p.m. near 100 East Randall Avenue. According to the Rialto Police Department, Vargas was walking in the roadway when a dark four-door sedan traveling eastbound on Randall struck her.
 
After the crash, the driver fled the scene without rendering aid.
 
Firt responders rushed Vargas to a local hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
 
The Rialto Police Department is still on the lookout for the hit-and-run suspect. They urged anyone with information to contact the department at 909-644-6025.
