WEST COVINA, CA (January 17, 2022) – A woman died in a pedestrian accident on Valley Avenue in West Covina on Saturday morning.
 
The fatal accident happened around 6:00 a.m. on January 15. According to the West Covina Police Department, the female pedestrian was walking in the 3000 block of Valley Avenue when a vehicle struck her.
 
As a result, the woman suffered a head trauma and died at the scene. She was not yet identified.
 
The involved driver remained on scene and cooperated with police.
 
No arrests were reported at this time.
