2 Killed, Child Injured in Car Accident on 680 Freeway near Andrade Road [Sunol, CA]

2 Dead, Child Hospitalized in Sunol Car Crash on 680 Freeway

 
SUNOL, CA (January 17, 2022) — Two people died and a child suffered injuries in a car accident on the 680 Freeway near Andrade Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a caller reported the accident around 3:45 a.m. Under unclear circumstances, a car described as a Tesla left the road and crashed south of Andrade Road.
 
Upon responding, authorities found two deceased occupants in the vehicle, as well as a critically injured child whom authorities rushed to Children’s Hospital in Oakland.
