Woman Dies in Bakersfield Pedestrian Accident on Union Avenue

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (March 26, 2021) — A woman was killed in a pedestrian accident on Union Avenue near Adams Street Wednesday night.
 
According to police, the pedestrian crash happened around 9:50 p.m. For unknown reasons, a driver struck the woman and crashed into a fence at a nearby property. Per reports, the woman was crossing Union Avenue outside of a marked crosswalk.
 
Soon after, paramedics responded and pronounced her dead at the scene. However, her identity has yet to be identified by the coroner’s office.
