Cam Van Nguyen Dead in Pedestrian Crash on Monroe Street near Augusta Place

 
SANTA CLARA, CA (March 26, 2021) — Cam Van Nguyen died in a pedestrian accident on Monroe Street near Augusta Place Monday morning.
 
According to Santa Clara police, the pedestrian accident happened around 8:01 a.m. For unknown reasons, a 42-year-old Santa Clara man struck the 77-year-old woman while making a left turn. Per reports, the Nissan Armada driver had just stopped at the stop sign prior to the crash.
 
Shortly after, paramedics responded to find Nguyen with significant injuries. However, she died a short time later at a hospital.
