Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Vehicle on Highway 18 near Mojave River Bridge

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (September 1, 2022) – A woman was killed in a pedestrian accident on Highway 18 in Victorville on Tuesday morning, August 30.
 
The fatal accident happened around 7:25 a.m. just west of Stoddard Wells Road near Mojave River bridge. According to the Victorville Sheriff’s Station, a Hispanic female pedestrian walked across the roadway when a vehicle struck her.
 
As a result, the woman suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. She was not yet identified.
 
The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and cooperated with authorities.
