Woman Dies in Huntington Beach Pedestrian Crash on Beach Boulevard

 
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (January 26, 2022) — A woman died in a pedestrian accident on Beach Boulevard at Yorktown Avenue, Monday evening.
 
According to Huntington Beach Police, the fatal pedestrian crash happened around 6:20 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a 58-year-old man in a northbound Chevrolet Silverado struck the woman on Beach Boulevard.
 
According to reports, the female pedestrian tried to cross eastbound on Yorktown Avenue prior to the impact.
 
Due to the nature of the crash, the woman suffered fatal injuries. Authorities have not released her name or age.
