Man Dead, Found Pinned Between Car and Pole on 75th Avenue in Oakland

 
OAKLAND, CA (January 26, 2022) — A man found pinned between a truck and a pole on 75th Avenue near Garfield Street died, Wednesday night.
 
According to reports, the incident happened just before 10:00 p.m. near Eastmont Mall. Under unclear circumstances, a Ford F-250 pinned the victim against a pole in the 2600 block of 75th Avenue.
 
Due to the nature of the incident, the man died at the scene. The Alameda County Coroner’s Bureau has not released his name.
 
At this time, officers have not confirmed the details, including whether DUI or speed played a factor in the death.
