CHICO, CA (November 17, 2023) — A woman suffered a serious leg injury in a 2-car crash on Highway 99 near Garner Lane.
 
According to reports, the two-vehicle crash happened around 3:00 p.m. Wednesday. For unknown reasons, a Scion driver rear-ended a stopped Chrysler at a red traffic light. As a result, one person suffered a leg injury.
 
Shortly after, California Highway Patrol and paramedics responded to the scene and rushed the victim to a hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, the other driver’s condition was unavailable.
 
Following the crash, traffic in the area was able to move at a steady pace despite an investigation at the scene.
