Man Hospitalized in DUI Crash at Cedar Avenue in Fresno

 
FRESNO, CA (November 17, 2023) — A man run over by a DUI driver at Cedar Avenue and Shields Avenue suffered serious injuries.
 
According to reports, the accident happened just before 2:00 a.m. Thursday. For an unknown reason, an unidentified man crawled underneath a vehicle to sleep. Subsequently, a bar patron entered the car and reversed out of the parking stall, running over the man sleeping underneath the car.
 
The driver stopped at the scene and cooperated with police investigators, who subsequently arrested him for drunk driving.
 
As for the victim, paramedics brought the individual to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment of upper body and waist area injuries.
