Woman Fatally Injured in Semi-Truck Crash on Highway 43 and Kent Avenue

 
HANFORD, CA (November 30, 2022) — A woman died in a semi-truck accident on Highway 43 in Kings County on Tuesday, November 29.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at around 2:15 a.m. at Highway 43 and Kent Avenue.
 
Investigators said that the 47-year-old woman drove her vehicle in the direction of an oncoming semi-truck at the intersection.
 
The semi-truck struck the woman’s vehicle. Then the impact sent it crashing off the roadway.
 
Emergency responders rushed the woman to a hospital in Visalia, where she later died of sustained fatal injuries.
 
Authorities do not believe drugs or alcohol contributed as a factor to the crash.
