DAVIS, CA (August 11, 2022) — A woman suffered fatal injuries in a car accident on Highway 113 on Tuesday, August 9.
 
According to the Woodland California Highway Patrol, the woman walked onto Highway 113 just north of West Covell Boulevard. Then, at some point, a vehicle described as a small sedan struck her.
 
Officials and paramedics responded to the scene. They subsequently reported that the woman died of sustained injuries.
 
The driver and the passenger of the vehicle had no injuries. They remained at the scene to speak with the police.
 
The circumstances of the crash are not immediately available. There are also no reports if alcohol or drugs played a role in the incident.
