Woman from Alaska Dead in Lucerne Valley Accident on Highway 247 and Camp Rock Road

 
LUCERNE VALLEY, CA (October 25, 2021) — A woman from Alaska died in a car crash on Highway 247 on Tuesday, October 19.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at about 7:02 pm along Highway 247 and Camp Rock Road. It involved a black Nissan Titan and a gray Dodge van.
 
San Bernardino County Fire rushed to assist and pronounced one person dead at the scene. They requested an airlift for another patient with critical injuries. Another ground ambulance was also requested for another person with minor injuries.
 
The helicopter landed at Pioneer Park. It airlifted the critically injured to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.
 
According to San Bernardino County Coroner’s office, the deceased passenger is a 68-year-old female resident of Alaska. They have not yet released her name pending notification of her loved ones.
 
The California Highway Patrol handles the ongoing investigation.
