Woman, 2 Children Hurt in Overturned Crash on Highway 12 in Napa County

 
NAPA COUNTY, CA (May 5, 2022) — A woman and two children were injured in an overturned accident on Highway 12 at Highway 121.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the single-car accident happened around 4:46 p.m. on Friday. As a female driver tried to make an unsafe turn onto the west shoulder of Highway 12, her 2002 Toyota 4Runner overturned.
 
Soon after, an American Medical Response ambulance arrived at the scene. Officials brought the 26-year-old woman from Vallejo and two 5-year-old girls to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
 
At this time, reports included no information as to what led to the accident or other factors that contributed to the cause. However, an ongoing investigation should clarify what other factors played a role.
