Man Hurt in Motorcycle Accident on Highway 29 in Napa County

 
NAPA COUNTY, CA (May 5, 2022) — A man from Fernley, Nevada was injured in a motorcycle crash on Highway 29 at Highway 221 on Friday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the motorcycle accident happened around 5:45 p.m. For unknown reasons, a 52-year-old man on a 2016 Harley-Davidson Sportster rear-ended a 2021 BMW X5 as the BMW stopped before a traffic signal.
 
As a result of the impact, the man suffered unknown injuries, which prompted paramedics to bring him to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center.
 
Meanwhile, the 40-year-old Castro Valley resident driving the BMW reported no injuries.
 
At the time, the factors leading to the accident need more examination by investigators. Although, any witnesses with information should reach out to the CHP.
