49-Year-Old Woman Dies after Struck by Car in Wildomar

 
WILDOMAR, CA (December 3, 2022) – Virginia Gonzalez was killed in a pedestrian accident in Wildomar Thursday night on December 1.
 
The fatal accident happened around 6:40 p.m. at the intersection of Corydon Road and Plessner Way. According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Gonzalez was walking at the intersection when a car struck her.
 
First responders performed life-saving measures on Gonzalez, but she died at the scene.
 
The victim was 49 years old from Wildomar, according to the coroner’s bureau.
 
The involved driver remained at the location and cooperated with deputies.
 
Alcohol and/or drugs did not play a role in the crash. Further investigation is underway. Authorities asked witnesses to call the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station at 951-245-3300.
