Early Morning Rollover Accident on Sierra Highway in Lancaster Kills Two

LANCASTER, CA (October 17, 2021) – Two women were killed in a rollover accident at Sierra Highway and Avenue I in Lancaster early Saturday morning.
 
The fatal accident happened around 1:50 a.m. on October 16. According to the Los Angeles County Sheriffs’ Lancaster Station, an SUV carrying four people lost control and overturned before slamming into a pole.
 
As a result, two female occupants suffered fatal injuries and both died at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, two other people were expected to survive.
 
Deputies are still investigating the accident and said that speed may have been a factor.
